Realtor -  Peggy Melton

Margaret (Peggy) Melton has been involved in Real Estate since 1987. Peggy first began her real estate career as a California Realtor in the Agoura, Westlake, and Malibu area. Her husband’s career change took them to Austin, Texas in 1990. Peggy quickly fell in love with Austin and obtained her Texas Realtor license immediately.

Beginning a new business and not knowing anyone in the Austin area was a challenge. Peggy quickly met new friends and used her love of Austin to learn all she could of the people, culture, activities and the various neighborhoods. Selling in Central Austin, Down Town, West, South, East, North Westlake, South, and anywhere her clients wanted was a lot of fun. Along the way she decided to start becoming a buyer herself. At last count she has acquired eleven homes, duplexes, commercial buildings and lots.

These days Peggy has devoted her real estate efforts to managing her own properties. “Dealing with the great tenants that I have seen come and go has been a joy. I can truly say that the professional screening process, along with the great care I give the renters as well as the properties, has rendered fantastic tenants that stay with me for years.”

When Peggy is not “realistating” she enjoys hiking with friends, golfing with her husband and playing with her dog Rudy.
