The borders of Cat Mountain are Twin Valley Drive, Mesa Drive, FM 2222, and Cat Mountain Drive itself, from which the community derives its name. Most of the homes in the area are from the 1970s and 1980s, though more recent homes have been developed to accommodate increasing recent interest.
