The neighborhood of Rosedale is located in north central Austin. Its borders are 38th Street, Shoal Creek, the North Loop and Lamar Boulevard. Most homes were built in the 1930s and 1940s, lending a nostalgic charm to the area. However the area is still vibrant and undergoes regular renewal projects to revitalize various areas.
Rosedale is family-friendly, but its population is a mix of families and single professionals, young and old, some even original owners of their homes. Nearby is the University of Texas, downtown Austin, and the Capitol.
Approximately 1,200 homes are located within the Rosedale neighborhood, as well as many businesses. Home values range from $200,000 to over $600,000.
